Strength:
Terrific tape playback.
Weakness:
Poor tuner. In keeping with the industry trend towards "disposable" VCRs, this unit's physical construction leaves a lot to be desired. It is very light weight and quite "plasticy." The construction quality of the remote is also poor, using very cheap plastic. Even though the remote is illuminated, the light is so weak you can hardly tell. I use a Marantz R2000 universal remote so it does not really matter to me anyhow. Moreover, one can't expect too much from a top-of-the-line model that was purchased for just $199 (Supreme Video). |

Strength:
Tapes playback
Weakness:
none I purchased this product from "soundcenters" for $229.00 and love it.The playback of tapes with the("dynamorphous metal heads)" broadcast heads that panasonic uses on there high end vcrs are better than 19 micron or any other out..I can,t believe how clear the tapes play back and the colors stand out great. The tuner on my vcr works very good with my cable tv picture compared to what someome else said...I would recommend this product to anyone.
