The Zenith VRA424 is a comprehensible piece of home theatre eqipment. If you can find one for less than $140 at a specialty chain, I highly suggest picking one up.
PROS-
1.The video head on this piece is above average, delivering excellent picture clarity at SP and very good playback in EP.
2.The DbX noise reduction is among the best I've ever heard on a VCR of comprable price.
3.This machine will play most S-VHS tapes without problem.
4.This maching is equipped with several features including VCR Plus, and commercial-skip.

CONS-
1.The VRA424 produces a distracting hum during playback and is suprisingly loud when rewinding and fast-forwarding.
2.Slow-motion is not flowing, but rather choppy and harsh.
