Strength:
Good sound for the size and price. Nice styling and easy to use.
Weakness:
Bad recption and the CD player sound horrible. This system was used for my office, and I had the oppertunity to listen to it. Although it cannot compete with my main stereo, it sounded pretty good for the money. That bass is pretty impressive for the size of speakers and the treble is not bad. I am assuming that the woofer is not crossovered so it handles the mids well. The amp seems strong enough for the size of the speakers, but turned off when I pushed it to max. The radio is really fuzzy and fussy, and gets poor reception. The CD player is awful. The sound of it is completly flat and bassless. There is literally no bass associated with the cd player as if it was not adjusted properlly. It sounds the best with my PC hooked up to it through the aux plugs. The styling is not quite as flashy as some other minisystems, but is good looking enough for me. The remote also seems to be adiquite. In all, this minisystem is a good value, but the OK CD and Tuner quality makes it a mediocre product. Similar Products Used: Yamaha, Sony |
