Strength:

Nice subwoofer, sound quality as good as any expensive Yamaha/sony systems. Very good and friendly remote operation. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Weakness:

Have to turn on subwoofer on remote (else it wont work, I used it for almost 3 days and thought subwoofer was defective) Would have looked better black in color, Huge box, would'nt fit into my car, had to unpack before transporting.

Excellent value for money. Would've been better if the appearence had been more appealing (looks more like a toy and lacks aesthetically). Sound quality comparable to systems in the $500 plus range. Would definitely recommend it to prospective buyers

Strength:

+Dolby Digital 5.1 Cheap +BBE +Nice Highs and Lows +Good style

Weakness:

-Poor mid -LFE effects the highs alot -Bizzare Subwoofer -Color (Perfect if you have an indigo GameCube, though)

DOLBY, DOLBY, DOLBY, ever wish you could get movie theater quality sound in your own bedroom? Now you can without selling your everything you own. Dolby Digital decoders are very expensive, the cheapest dolby digital decoder reciever I could find was $300. This sytem is cheaper than that already, by 33%! I can compare this to my freind's $5,000 sound system. I love all the features, such as midnight theater, BBE (Reproduces sound great), Dolby (OF COURSE), a subwoofer kicks @$$, and there are many more features, there are just too many to list. I'd reccomend this to anyone.

Strength:

great sound, easy to use, fully remote contrlled

Weakness:

no second audio input, no coaxial digital audio input.

Purchased this system for a second surround for use in my bedroom. Hooked it up to my bedroom DVD player and turned it on. Sounded as good as the system in my living room with speakers two times the size. Can't imagine watching my DVD's or listening to CD's on a regualr system ever again.

Strength:

Decent volume, low bass response, decent looks, and fairly easy to use, along with a fairly good remote.

Weakness:

Poor Midrange, kinda a muddy sound, huge ass packin' box. Sub can be way to boomy if not set to a proper setting.

Quite happy with the cost to value ratio. What Can I say for about $180 you just cant go wrong. I had to call a friend to come pick me up in his truck, so I could transport the bloody thing. I also returned the stupid product thinking that the subwoofer was screwed, I guess having no batteries for the remote didn't help the situation. I have a friend who is a just a pure 100% audiophile and he even admited that for that price you just couldn't go wrong. I couldn't recommand a better system in the price range to anybody.

Strength:

Deep rich bass,, lots of options I.E. surround sound delay, midnight theatre for watching movies when the girl is asleep, able to adjust all speakers from remote. dolby 5.1

Weakness:

I DO wish it had an EQ you could fully adjust,, but the preset ones do sound pretty good.. wish it had more inputs,, think it has 2

I am very happy with this system,, I can't believe it only cost me 250 at target I saw the same system selling somewhere else (department store) for $300 without the sub... I bought it about a month ago,, I couldn't fit it in my car,, but anyway I brought it home it was pretty easy to assemble,, I thought the sub was broke,, but you have to turn the sub on with the remote,, who knew,, anyway,, My girlfriend was very impressed with the sound and so was my friend tim, who is a Dr. and has a very very expensivehome theatre system,, he said his didn't sound much better,, He just suspects his will get alot louder,,Anyway I would definitely reccomend this,, I think it's hard to get a better bang for the buck,,

Similar Products Used:

I had a component system before,, mostly sony and polk,, that one had more power but this system seems to work together more smoothly,,, The movies are alot funner to watch,, and it seemed to really wake up my old cd's which I had never heard in surround sound.
