Better options out there

Incredible power with good sound quality. Excellant value for money. A lot of system for the price paid.

One of the cassette mechanism have malfunctioned. But hey, I am not use any tapes. The CD mechanism is a little slow when changing disc. And the CD player seems a little too sensitive and have some trouble capturing first songs on CDs.

Got my D-C30 for 720 Singapore dollars(US$400). Got a fantastic bargain. The speakers were fantastic, with excellant high, good mid and very adequte bass. The system seems very well powered as I hook-up another set of Technics speakers(SB-CD101) in parallel with the original Denon speakers and still play both sets of speakers with authority.

Picked this up from an Onsale auction. Because the speakers have no treble and the equalizer has only five pre-sets, I had to go out and upgrade the speakers. Got some Bose 141s from Circuit City for about $50. So now it sounds fine and I am enjoying it.
