Strength:
loud clean bass and treble. excellent surround for TV and computer. looks nice. easy to use.
Weakness:
speakers move when turned up real high. the bass causes the speakers to vibrate and then the speakers will move around. this stereo system is very nice. i have alot of audio equipement and i love this stereo. it will give you great clean bass and has high treble thats clear. i also love the USB port on it. i have my computer hooked up to the stereo as well as my TV for surround sound. this stereo has everything you can ask for. price is right for a stereo like this. i would suggest you get this stereo if you are looking for a nice stereo with loud bass and great sound for a cheap price. ive had mine for about 3 years now and have never had a problem with it. Similar Products Used: lots of other home audio and car audio equipment. i own a car audio and video shop so i deal with lots of audio equipment. |

Strength:
Loud. The bass certainly delivers, physically.
Weakness:
Obviously, this isn't a high quality audiophile piece of equipment. But again, for the price you can find it now (around $150 or so), it's a fun system to get. I've had this system for about 2 years. I like it, it's no audiphile piece of equipment, but it's fun. The MX-GC5 can definitely fill a room with sound, more than my Klipsch Promedia 2.1s can. The bass is extremely punchy. However, I would not say it's very accurate. The "RHYTHMAX" feature is nice, definitely adds a nice touch to make music sound not so flat. The CD Player is alright, but I think where the speakers really shine is when I hook up my P.E. 2040 turntable to the auxiliary input. Headphone input is alright, nothing too great though. This system can also go pretty loud
