Had this puppy for about 19 years now. She still works well, just need to periodically clean the CD lens. The output is pretty good for a unit of this size and age.

Speakers not stellar, but passable.

Very exact sound for this price. Without distortings, which have many audio systems of this class. Good for listening classic music.

Relatively small, lights up when plugged in.

More hum and crackle than sound.

Looks nice, dinky mechanised control panel, but, I am plagued with the odd 'static' discharge sound, and a hum that comes and goes. The speakers are pretty feeble, and the FM reception is only passable. I am disappointed, the Store I purchased from was not helpful. Kenwood's Quality Control must have been asllep, as this unit was factory fresh. I am waiting to hear from Kenwood.

Disappointed. I wouldn't waste my time on one of these.
