stopped working in less than one year.

I bought this for my kid and in less than a year it just stopped working, the warrantee is for only 90 days so that is pretty worthless.
It will still show the radio station and the clock but it is not illuminated and nothing will operate.
So I give this on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best ..........
