Great sound clarity.

C.d. player skips when changing tracks.

I've enjoyed this system a lot and don't regret the purchase one bit. Having written that, the player is not perfect. Over the last four years that I've owned the system I've had to take it in for repair on the c.d. player way too often. Other people have had the same problem: the player won't advance to the later tracks of a c.d. Luckily this problem is an annoyance rather than something that prevents you from using the system altogether. I've become accostomed to simply listening to a c.d. all of the way through. The problem hasn't affected me enough that I take it in for repair as often as I should. Everything else about this system is fantastic, the hookups are handy and the 10 disc changer is perfect (but a little slow)

I purchased this unit about three years ago and it has worked very till now. I think the quality of the speaker is exceptionary good. However, there is a problem with the CD player. CD changer is not working propery sometimes.

I purchased this unit probably two years ago and it has performed flawlessly! Great sound and plenty of punch. The pro-logic modes sound fabulous. This model is a bit on the pricier side, but for the sound quality compared to the aiwa's or the sony's, this one rocks them all! A definite great purchase.

CD changer

This unit is great, but one BIG PROBLEM. Seems as if a lot of people are having problems with the CD changer. Mine makes a chugging sound and skips every so often. especially from the 3rd track on from any of my CD's.
Great sound great everything...but DOBLY DIGITAL is here and upcoming DTS. Want to upgrade. WE SHOULD COMPLAIN AND GET A WHOLE NEW ONKYO SYSTEM FOR THIS PROBLEM...THEY HAVEN"T DONE A LOT OF TESTS.
