Strength:
The sound quality and features on this unit make it a real bargain for the price.
Weakness:
While it is not as offensive as most, the cabinetry could be simplified and the speaker grilles completely covered, but those things are picky compared to the strengths of the system. Having long been a supporter of Panasonic audio product, I needed a small bookshelf system for my studio that would provide high quality and not look like something out of "Star Wars". I tested several more expensive units and found this one to have exceptional sound quality in both the CD and tape functions. At 90 watts and using the Spacial Equalizer on the remote, the sound rivals my Bose AcousticWave, at about one-fifth the cost. I would recommend this unit very highly for students going to university, or for small spaces and studios. Similar Products Used: Sony, Aiwa, Pioneer and Denon. |
