Nice speakers to use for another reciever

RCA RS2640 As far as i'm concerned this is nothing but a piece of junk, the static starts then the unit shuts down never to operate again.

This is the best radio that I have ever had. Extremely powerfull bass. LOUD. Great for video games. 5 different eq. settings.

Have never had a problem with this system in the three years that I have had it.

The RS2640 is very attractive easy to use and when it works good sound, but that is the best I can say. I purchased the first one and within a couple days noticed static that got worse as it played. I thought ok, I got a bad one took it back and exchanged it. The next one played alright for about a month and the static bagan again, then it would not play sound through the speakers. Now the third one the same problems. I would take in back but it has been in my garage where I used it sparingly and the warranty is no good. RCA will not acknowledge there is a problem with this model though I know others who have had the same experience. RCA use to be a good name but apparently this is not the case anymore.
