Strength:

Dual cassette recording but who uses that anymore.

Weakness:

CD player - does not recognize a lot of music discs (not sure if it is the rotating wheel or laser that is at fault). In any case, since I have had this system for over two years I won't have it serviced as it will cost more money to get it fixed versus buying another system (different brand of course).

Probably the worst product I have purchased from Sharp. After I bought the Sharp CD_BA150 system, I noticed that some CD's were not being recognized by the CD player. When I played them on my DVD player they got recognized no problem. After a few months, I returned the unit thinking that it was defective. I picked up a new unit a no sooner was it displaying the same symptoms - can't read CD.

Strength:

Looks excellent on the bookshelf.

Weakness:

It seems to be confused as to it's purpose.

Sharp CD-BA150 Used it for 6 months and replaced the power transformer twice. Needless to say I paid enough for the transformers to buy another CD-BA150. I will not purchase another Sharp product. This is an excellent product for an electronics student, you'll get plenty of practice fixing it.

Strength:

This is an oxy-moron.

Weakness:

The stupid thing will not read CD's and the left speaker output jack will not work since the day I wasted my money on it. The AM/FM is more fuzzy than velvet. And the Cassette player, Well, lets just say a tribe of pigmy's could play a cassette better using sticks and rocks.

I bought, in a sams club, a little develish fiend, whom, from the box destroyed my sanity and confidence of all sharp products and accesories. As it stared at me from the box, I knew I was a dupe, Just another fool played by sharp. I set it up all the while feeling its hate watching me and mocking with its mean HELLO! fluttering across its evil little face. Now, if I were you I would put your money back in your pocket and listen to my words.
