This "mini-system" has better sound than many full size components.The incredibly rich base must be heard to be believed ! I don't think there is a better sounding mini system on the market today. As of July 99, many stereo shops are clearing this unit out to make room for the 99 replacement model. It's being sold for around $435 cdn now ! It would have been worth the original sticker of $599 . Grab one if you still can.

I must say...I purchased this system for 575$ CAN and it's unbelievable......the bass, the mid, the 3 high's.....you can't beat this offer. FIrst i would like to mention that it's a SONY and you can't go wrong with it. It has deeeep rich bass, enough to brake the window in your bathroom. IT has great tunning and what else can i say? the cd is great, the tape dubbings and recording is great. And also, it has DIGITAL OUT on it so you can make your own fun stuff (with the help of SB LIVE for the pc) and not to mention the LINE in/out on it. It has sub-woofer outputs. I must say, this system kickz some serious shit. It's a top of the line. I recomend this system.. IF your looking for a mini system...this is the shit..if not then go with a hifi system..and this mini system is the closest thing ever to a HI-FI system

On the strength of the reviews here I have just purchased an RX77 at a sell-off price of under £200 sterling. What a bargain!! and although rx77 here in uk has slightly reduced spec. as compared to north american model, the performance totally confirms what others say.
My advice - don't wait for the replacement model but track down the last of these brilliant bits of kit and rattle your neighbourhood windows with what's got to be the loudest, clearest undistorted sound you'll ever hear for the price.

I got this system too, you don't get what you pay for, u get more for what u pay. IT's a shame they only make this system in Canada and not in the USA
