Nice clean sound. Great for classical and good for everything else too.

Bad cd player in first unit, but replaced under warranty.

Let me just say that this little unit is great. It performs very well in our living room and really fills the room with sound. Make sure you don't buy one of those cheap little mini-system stands and put everything on it. Buy some speaker stands and space the speakers so the sound fills your room. This system reproduces classical music extremely well and does pretty good on rock too. I'm not good at technical details, but this system sounds clean and is a good choice if your looking for a mini-system for your family room. My first unit (floor model, so big discount) had cd player with laser "scraping" on the disk. Very loud and annoying, but tweater exchanged it for next years model at no price increase. I have to say the guys at tweeter are top notch. This lead me to buy a Dennon AVS-1803 w/Mirage speakers from them. This kicks butt too.
