The DICE BMW DSP Kit for BMW DSP Module is an adapter that is required along with the i-BMW-T kit for most BMW systems that came equipped with the Digital Sound Processor (DSP) option. This adapter is not required in 2006 or later models even if they do have the DSP option. The best way to confirm if your car requires this adapter is to check the external CD changer port in the trunk. If the connection is a 3-pin and 6-pin connection, you do not need this adapter. If the connection is a 3-pin and a co-ax connection, the adapter is required.
