We've turned our design team loose on a very important segment of the headphone audience: our kids. MyPhones has circuitry built in to limit the volume that our kids' ears are exposed to. We've built MyPhones to cap volume at 85 decibels, the maximum sustained volume level recommended by many regulatory agencies, including OSHA and the CDC. Most doctors and other experts agree that the best way to protect kids' hearing is to limit both the volume and how long kids are allowed to listen.
