turns off and on components

I have had this product for a few years now, bought it to prevent the pops when the a/c when on. It didn't eliminate them, but did reduce the popping. But I really like the auto turn on and off of my other components in my system.
Great value for the money.

I have really enjoyed this unit to date. The minor inmprovement in sound qualityis really overshadowed by the way it times amplifier shut on/off to avoid system pops through the speakers. If you use 5-6 mono amps you can leave them all powered on and this unit will shut them on and off. nice

Reduces top end detail, hurts system coherence

I used this unit for almost two years before someone suggested removing it as an experiment. What a difference!!! This thing kills treble detail and makes the whole system less coherent, more closed down. IF you have decent electronics you are better off leaving them un-plugged when not home to protect them, as this thing won't save them from a close lightning strike anyway.

definitely needs more plug ins.

I have had this unit 8 years and it still works like a charm, and for the price as compared to the other high end conditioners, this beats them hands down for the price

It does what Adcom says it does, definite difference in clarity through my components then not running them through it(what hiss). I use to live in a remote community where the power was supplied by diesel generator, need I say more, great piece of gear, highly recommended.
