Nice warm sound, reminicent of of days before solid state

None that I can find. Am told that the AM section is weak but I don't listen to AM for anything more than school closings

I recently had a pit in my stomach when I sold my Magnum Dynalab Etude. I never thought another tuner could come close to it's involvement. Well, the Etude went out to a very worthy new owner and I replaced it with the Jolida and I really never expected too much, but what I got was a new old sound! This is a very involving tuner, it brings a very warm sound with great soundstaging. This is a very musical tuner that will leave you to enjoy rather than analize. In the Jolida tradition, the build quality is good and internal topography is what you would expect from Jolida ( very well laid out). Please know however that I never fired up with stock chinese tubes but replaced with one of my favorite, Ei ( now known as: Orion Radio ) If you're looking for a new tuner and don't want to spend mega bucks, This Jolida will deliver with warmth and passion at a fraction of dollars out. I would Recommend Highly, you will not be dis-appointed!!!!
