Picture quality is fantastic, works great with 40" direct view tube at 720p or even better at 1080i output. Integrated guide is good overall. A recent software upgrade fixed the problem where the favorites menu wouldn't remember which one was used last (as the old HD200 could from the start).

Attempts to use the timer feature resets the unit about half the time, wiping out much of the schedule for a few hours. I obtained a replacement unit a couple of weeks ago (end of May 2004) and it has the exact same problem. Digital over-the-air channels in the guide don't show programming on the 2nd receiver. I am going to try and get a buyback, but I don't know what else to get.
