Strength:
Great sound. DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) upgrade option. 100 presets.
Weakness:
Remote is a bit cheap compared to the build quality of the tuner. One of the top tuners currently available. Very detailed presentation. Good solid bass. Full body midrange. Maybe a bit on the bright side but not too bright. Upgradeable firmware (via proprietary network cable). Very versatile display options (station name, signal strength, time, frequency, traffic info, etc). 100 presets (!). Remote controlled. Strength:
Build Quility,Remote Conrtol,Standby mode shuts off display ligts, Pulls in weak stations, sounds pretty clear for a radio, Digital Audio Broadcast capable
Weakness:
none so far! I had the unit for short period of time. The unit is not yet broken in at this time I will update my summary once it is. This tuner sounds pretty good althoug a little dryer sounding than the Mcintosh MR7082 it replaced. The only reason the Mac is longer in my system is it did not have a remote control and I got tired of getting up to make adjustments. Similar Products Used: Mcintosh MR7082 |
