Strength:
Very pretty. Easy to learn programming.
Weakness:
Lousy selectivity, adjacent channel rejection, alternate channel rejection. Only average sensitivity. Very noisy between stations. No remote. No F connection for antenna. Product literature/ads glorify this one. Worth about $75. Compares with average tuner in boom-boxes. Just OK for person with very limited budget. Won't satisfy anyone with above average hearing and/or ability to discern various aspects of FM reception. Don't need lab instruments to verify. Similar Products Used: So many I can't remember all. A few are JVC, Pioneer, Sony, Marantz, McIntosh. |
