Doesn't remember the cd track last being played when function is changed or when unit is turned off. Does remember the last radio preset

I actually have the dsd-fd88 (very new model just came out) and it rocks. Sounds better than those Sony pieces of crap. Only 2.5 watts per side but plenty loud enough. Plus....makes the batteries last longer. That have a more powerful 4 watt per side model but it is not available yet. One tip, don't extend the antenna unless you need it. The tuner is so strong you will get better reception this way. I receive all the stations in the area with the antenna retracted in the storage position
