Like the previous reviewer, my family members that listen to this boombox are dinosaurs (my parents). They like the analog radio tuning because they don't like digital. They find the CD easy to operate. I think this boombox has stood up well over the past couple of years, especially given the low price. |

OK product, but "Great" for the price. Like to have it outside when working on projects. Only drawbacks I've found: Analog tuner is not very accurate: not very good on picking up weak radio stations; power cord to AC is sensitive, often loses contact with just a minor jar. I'm buying another, one for each house. Great for dinosaur like me who still plays casette tapes more than cd's, and listens to the radio a lot. Not being an audiophile, and one who can listen through a lot of static to poor radio reception, the sound quality when playing tapes or cd's is excellent to me. Similar Products Used: Sanjean portable am/fm/shortwave/casette player. Much better reception, but 200 dollars. |
