The QT-CD114 is a modest, dependable player in an attractive, lightweight casing. Offering the holy trinity of audio features--namely, a CD player, radio, and tape deck--this machines primary appeal is its surprisingly economical interface. The tuners radial analog dial has a very fine tuning ratio; the tape deck is controlled by a six-button configuration; and the CD options are play/repeat, stop, cue/track forward, and review/track reverse. A simple two-digit LCD display tells you what track youre on. Theres no programming to worry about, no shuffling, no preset genre equalizations--just straightforward operation.
