I have been known to use two line-linked together for quite effective sound reinforcement at smaller meetings!

My only possible criticism is that the automated recording facilities are not intuitive. Without the instructions you will never figure out how to wake up to Radio 4!

The really serious problem is that it is no longer available and hasn't been for ages!

This represented exceptional value around the time it went out of production. If you see any secondhand, check everything still works then snap them up!

I bought mine pure for the audio quality, and to my amazement the D-A converters were almost as good as my Arcam Hi Fi Cd player.

This is much more than the ghetto-blaster boom-box is appears to be! The sound is actually listenable-to and it can almost be a useful audio tool when other facilities break down!
