The Aiwa TX686 is the best cassette/AM-FM walkman style portable player that I have ever owned.My personal TX686 is still going strong after over 10 years of steady use.The AM/FM tuner pulls in most nearby stations and the sound quality of the tape section is simply superb.The standard Aiwa headphones are of good quality,though I recently purchased a pair of quality Sony MDR-W25 in ear headphones to use with my unit to excellent results.With the steep decline of cassette users over the last few years,new units of the quality of the Aiwa TX686 are really nowhere to be found.If you are looking for a full featured quality portable cassette player/tuner,try and find a clean TX686 and buy it.
