Casio's PZ-4000 is a personal CD player that includes a car-kit. It has a futuristic silver styling, looks pretty cool, but probably doesn't have the durability that you might find in a model with a metal shell. Its 40-second memory buffer (Casio calls it the Digital Shock Guard) is enough to keep you skip free, even during more rigorous activities like jogging.Casio throws an AC adapter so you can plug it in and save on batteries when you use the player at home. A line out jack lets you send a fixed-level audio signal out to an A/V receiver, or more likely, a MiniDisc recorder. The bass boost function gives a little kick to the low end.
