One look at the sleek D-NE1, and you can tell that Sony designed it specifically to make your life a little easier. Have a CD-R/W drive on your PC? Use the included Sonic Stage™ software to record tracks to CD-R or CD-RW in ATRAC3plus™ format, and you can fit up to 32 hours of music on one disc! (The D-NE1 will also play MP3 discs, regular audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs.) Want easy control? The handy stick-style remote sports a backlit LCD that shows ID3 tags and CD Text®. Plus, jog levers on both the remote and the player let you find your favorite track with one finger. Access that song even more quickly by using the player's bookmark function. And the 'NE1 is so slim, it's a cinch to carry!

Powering the player is super-simple, too. It comes with rechargeable batteries and a charging stand; just slip the D-NE1 onto the stand to freshen the charge. Plus, you can listen for 150 hours using the included rechargeables and two optional "AA"s in the external case!
