great long battery life, except the batteries it comes with are only eight hour long rechargables. built in recharger. red back light. great bass and great durability.

you can only have the backlight on when you have the unit plugged in. the batteries it comes with only last eight hours, though they are rechargable. there is not cd rewriteable compatable, it has no cd text.

This is truly the best discman to get. I have not had it skip once, even while paintballing! The backlight is great for dark nights in the car or at home. A nice red glow for some evil touch.
