The Sony D-EJ721 brings 86 hours of continuous playback with 4 "AA" Batteries (2 "AA" in CD Walkman and 2 "AA" in External Battery Case) as a result of advanced Sony engineering, a new IC chip set and a new mechanism. The player comes with an improved mechanism for more protection against vertical shock, and a greatly advanced digital-based system for more than 10-times-faster shock recovery compared to conventional systems, providing perfect playing performance without skipping even during such active uses as jogging. The player reads CD-R and CD-RW disks and also your own compilations from a CD recorder deck or a PC. You can also connect your player to the MiniDisc recorder thanks to the built-in MD LINK output. Its carrying case protects the device while carried; and a hand strap helps you grip the unit tighter and will make it easier to use during activity. The supplied MDR (Micro Dynamic Receiver) type headphones have a rich silver metallic finish and provide a wide dynamic range and excellent sound.
