I picked these up at the dump for free, guy claimed he couldn't get them to work because he lost the instructions. I don't think he realized that you have to adjust the freq on the transmitter and on the speakers too. I had them working in just a few minutes, and they work great. The sound is quite good and I had them playing about 200 ft out in the yard with the transmitter inside the house hooked to the computer. Signal was transmitting through one brick wall. These would work great for surround sound on the TV too, although you do have a speaker wire running from one speaker to the other.
