No Weakness

These are great sounding speakers for the price. A lot of people complain about weak bass but i dont agree with them. They give great low frequency bass for a 6.5 inch woofer (goes down to about 50HTz). I use them as my rear speakers in my Yamaha Dolby Digital home cinema amplifier which gives 80 watts per channel to the rear speakers. These speakers handle it very well indeed. These are probably the best speakers in the world in the $200 price range. Great quantity of fairly low bass, and great overall power handling. Well done Bose !!

The unit is small.

No stereo imaging. No quite full range.

For the price these speakers do well.

The problem I have with them is the angled tweeter. With this reflective design it is impossible to get any accurate
stereo imaging. If you just want to fill a room with reasonable sound these will do.

Of course they won't shake the room with bass, but they do
have enough to carry most performed music. However I have
used a subwoofer with them to make the sound more full.

the best speaker in this price range(250)

don't be fooled by people who is saying bose 201 is not good speaker 'coz i use this speakers everyday and i love it they sound very good
