Strength:
One of the biggest strengths of the KG1 is that it is not an audiophile speaker, which I find most to be terribly coloured. There is something very pure about the mids and highs that is very refreshing. These little boxes just sing! Weakness:
Bass, which is to be expected. I wouldn’t recommend them for a larger room. Price Paid: 150
Purchased: Used
Model Year: 1990

I recently acquired a set of kg1’s and Kg4’s from the original owners who purchased them together in 1990. Both sets are “MINT” condition. When I gave the kg1’s a listen, I was pleasantly super surprised by the imaging, accuracy and base response (for their size). Add a subwoofer and you’ve got a great little setup! Weakness:
At louder volumes, some might find these small speakers a bit on the brighter side. Purchased: Used

My search for bookshelf speaker that can pay just shut any music with no added color. Nice looking enough to stay in the master bedroom. Weakness:
So far no weakness for this size speaker. Price Paid: 20
