I've used in 2 channel, an as surrounds, they will do a Great job on both, cheaper than the reference an works great with receiver alone, but starts to shine with a power amp. I was sacred that they wouldn't mix well with my older synergy sets, no problem at all. .5 difference between these an my older towers in efficiency.

With out the grills I think there ugly, I always thought this, they should have made the woofers black, then I think they would look alot better.
