Very good on a ROTEL RA 01 Integrated Amplifier The speakers are small and go best with a sub I use a KEF PSW2010 Active Subwoofer for far more bass.

Needs a sub with them then are very good.

When i was looking for new speakers,i tried many products in a price range from 120 EUR to 550 EUR.There was: B&W 685, JM Lab Chorus 706 V, Monitor audio BR2, Mission M32i, Klipsch RB-61, Eltax Liberty 3+, Canton GLE 402, KEF iQ 30, Wharfedale Diamond 9.1, 9.2 , 9.3, Infinity Primus 150, Dali Concept 2, and M-S Avant 902i.
Some of these speakers i've been listening to 2-3 times,because i needed to be sure in my final decision.And i chose Mordaunt-Short Avant 902i. I got them for ridicoulos price on sale, 160 EUR!!!
Must say,i was little bit scared how they would sound in my room (16 m2),with DIY Krell KSA 50 amp, Rotel RC 850 preamp, Marantz Cd 6000 ose LE.So,i hooked them up,in a bi-wire mode,and pressed play button on my CD player.
Man,that sounded great! Need to tell you people,that i don't belive in "burn in" process,maybe 10%,but that's all.Simply,those mumbo-jumbo,quazy improvement of 300%??? after 200 hours...Foolish in my opinion.
In various music genres,M-S showed open,clear and precise character.With plenty of detail in more demanding music works,sound is always well controlled with just right amount of bass,especially when speaking of speakers this (small) size.Maybe their strongest point is sheer musicality and excellent allround abilities.You can spend time,as long as you want with them,and you will stay relaxed,with no trace of fatigue in your head or ears.Just an example,i took my M-S and carried them to my good friend,and tried them on Harman/Kardon HK 665.Older,but really nice amp,once more it showed versatility of small 902i.In some moments,i was stunned with the quality of the sound,as my two friends.Conclusion of the night was:-How can this cheap speakers be so good!
Of course,you can find better,prettier,and more expensive speakers,but in my case i'm in love:)
In the past,i had next units: B&W DM6, KEF 103.2, DIY kit Visaton, JBL LX 2.
