Strength:

Bass, rich midrange and quality highs.
Very smoothe from top to bottom
Looks great as well!

Weakness:

Not as detailed as others, mainly Focals 707s or 806 and B&W 685
Not as sensitive as Focals (need more power)
A little slow compared to Focals

Paid $1150sg in Singapore. The Studio 20's sound is very neutral. I auditioned these speakers for my GF's bedroom. As she is a singer the reproduction of female vocal was very important. We narrowed the field down to 3 speakers (Focal 806, B&W 685, Paradigm studio 20). My order of preference is 806, 20, 685. Where as my GF preferred, 20, 685, 806. There is no doubt the Studio 20 has the best bass with the Focal 806 the weakest in that area. The midrange in all the speakers was great with each having slightly different qualities. The Focal been the most detailed followed by the B&W. The Studio 20's midrange seemed a little recessed compared to the others but this also gave it more body. Even my GF agreed the the Focal had the best treble but it was also more sensitive to the electronics in front of it. The B&w's new tweeter is much better then the previous ones in the 600 series. Of the 3 speakers the Studio 20 appeared to have the flattest responce from top to bottom.
Now compared to my Focal 707's They seem a little lacking in speed and detail but as I said before the female vocal was the most important and the studio 20 conveys the vocals very well with lots of body and is harmonicly rich.
