This is a wonderfully clear speaker. It is very revealing and let's one realy appreciate whatever is on a recording. So, nice, well recorded stuff sounds fantastic on these babies. That being said, it can make bad recording sound really bad. I listen mostly to jazz, and these speakers do a great job with most of my CDs and vinyl. Strangely, they also make Hip-Hop sound super-great! Rock and pop on the other hand, only comes across as ok.
