Strength:
What an amazing little speaker this is. Using these with a small, say 8” sub makes a wonderful setup for music. I have also added these in a 5.1 system as rear channels. RBH’s use of aluminum for the tweeter concerned me initially. I fatigue quickly with metal tweeters, but these a smooth. They don’t go very low, but the frequency they serve is done with great aplomb. Big wide soundstage, very neutral, warm. I have larger MC models, but I enjoy using these for my mains just because they have such a remarkable sound for their size. The sealed design, in my opinion, is easier to tune with a sub, and its punchy. The cabinets are like stone, way heavier that any I have seen for this driver size. Had this been the only model I could use, I would have no complaints. I like these far more than my JBl L20t bookshelves. Weakness:
