Strength:
clear vocals
Weakness:
the tweeter is slotted in to the cabinet not screwed on,when i unpacked them on one of the speakers tweeter was hanging out so i had to slot it back in,but nothing really to worry about. If your looking for some great speakers, but don't want to pay a lot for them then these tannoys are for you, they really are fantastic value!!!!!!! |

Strength:
1.) Alternative to Paradigm, et al
Weakness:
1.) don't knock one of stand
Picked up to replace aging Mini-Monitors about 18 months. I did a comparison against the V.4 Mini and found that after an hour of A/B I liked them better. The speakers are a bit warmer, and I also enjoy the front porting, so the sound does not get as boomy as they would with Mini-Monitors when pushed up against a wall(not the ideal location, but sometimes we must comprise with our better halves). Build quality I would hand to Paradigm. Their speakers are built very well, from the enclosure inward. But I didn't find that out till later.

Strength:
Incredible value for the money, smoothness, balanced sound, warm sound, no distortion or strain, good performance with rock, pop and jazz, scarce sound variation due to positioning.
Weakness:
Lack of mid-high, mid-bass slightly prominent, basses present but not profound I purchased The Tannoy Fusion 2 after an afternoon of listening at Free Shop, S. Marino, a Magazine with a little but nice HIFI room and very kind personnel who make you listen every equipment they 've got.
