BISON OSUGI
AudioPhile
Strength:
Natural sound and a joy to listen to.
Weakness:
None when considered as a true near-field monitor, which is what they are. I have a pair of these little guys on loan from Crane Home Theater to try in my second system. That room is around 8H X 12D X 9.5W and I’m just under 4’ away. Most speakers won’t converge that close, but no problem with the MDIIs. They have a very flat, coherent wave much like the Manger drivers, which go for about a grand each - and that without an enclosure. These are perfect monitors and are small enough to get high-end audio from your computer.
