Very good speakers if you are looking for value and adequate sound. Don't try to "play" with bass at high volumes ,however, there is a good possibility that you'll blow the woofers. Other than that it has very good highs and same goes for mids. |

The speaker market has become very crowded wuth exoctic and expensive speaker designs. Which are nice if your looking to spend 600 on a pair of speakers. I, however, was looking for some good sound at a good price. The Yamaha NS-637 deliverd. 50$ each at Best Buy. It was the best 100$ I have spent on audio equipment. |

Strength:
mid-range and treble clarity
Weakness:
slight weakness in extreme low bass since the metropolitan opera uses yamaha pianos it follows that yamaha must produce quality products.these speakers only need a decent subwoofer and you have fine sound for any kind of music reminiscent of the ar sound of the 70s.bass extension to 50hz is validated by stereophile test cd. mids and highs are clear and non-fatiguing.use them for stereo or home theater and you won't be disappointed.my local dealer tells me they are actually infinity speakers with yamaha brand names so at $100 a pair these speakers are a steal!!! Strength:
great mids and highs.
Weakness:
dont handle much, they start popping at not even half way up on my Technics ex-110. Bass is all right but could be better. Pretty good speakers for the price. Need to handle more power and get better bass and they would be excellent. Similar Products Used: nht. |
