Great sound, bass reflex design.

Perhaps too large for some HT systems? Could have added a better tweeter.

Extremely large center channel, with dual 6.5 inch drivers and a dome tweeter. Bass reflex design sounds great, excellent addition to a home theater. I'm using it as my front center channel in a 7.1 speaker set up, and it performs very well for both movies and music.

Use it as a sitting stool ?

Poorly sheilded, will serverely distort & damage your TV tubes. Cheap drives that sounds terrible.

The speaker is very large & heavy. On of 32-36" tube TVs, it looks bulky & really ugly. When placed on 32" JVC only for few minutes, it distorted the tubes & made top corners green ! Took days to clear up, but not completely. Try with a Panasonic & got black corners ! The Panasonic seemed to recover better. For a projection TV, this is not a problem. But the drivers look cheap & sound terrible both for music & HT.

Size - To some people. But I love it

I bought this because the old center speaker wasnt doing it for me. The voices and sounds could barely be heard. With this speaker it was a big change, everything could be heard. And once you use a DTS encoded sound - man the speaker is amazing. The size is kinda huge, but I like it. My old speaker was half its size. The bigger the better :) Great highs and mids. I can hear the bass also, not present in my old speaker. (I also like the binding post) Wished it was gold, but oh well. ($65.00 which includes shipping, Not a bad deal)

I purchased four of these to complement my HT setup - this is how I am using them: In front I have a A/V wall system for my 61" Panasonic - and I use 2 of these on top of my towers with my Pinnicle Classic Gold Towers on the floor and to the outsides - have a Mission C3 center on top of the tv - and a Atlantic Technologies sub to the rear of the right tower. In the back I have these on the floor - shooting up with 2"x2" blocke underneath to relieve the pressure from the rear port and Mission bipoles about 4 feet above facing the tv. The holistic sound that this setup gives out is fantastic- The L6C's take about 20 hours of breakin to really loosen up enough to be able to start to hear the "real" sound from them which is very warm and wide- 5.1 never sounded better - though it takes some receiver wattage output to run this type setup (easily given by the Denon AVR-3802)

FOR MUSIC IT HAS AN EXELLENT MID-LOW RANGE WITH GOOD HIGHS

THIS IS A VERY WELL STRUCTURED CENTER CHANEL. I GOT IT OFF UBID FOR JUST $69 BRAND NEW. I HAVE A YAMAHA HTR-5460 AND HAD TO TUNE DOWN THE LEVEL OF THE CENTER BECAUSE IT TAKES OVER YOUR SYSTEM IN 5 CH STEREO MODE (THE VERY REASON I GOT THE HTR-5460). I HAVE 12" VEGAS AS MY MAINS AND 3-WAY 8" FOR MY REARS. THIS SPEAKER GIVES A NICE WARM/ROUND SOUND FOR MUSIC AND IT CAN GET VERY DETAILED FOR MOVIES, SPECIALLY IN DTS. IT BIRNGS TO LIFE MANY SOUNDS THAT USED TO GET COVERED. NOW IM NOT SAYING THIS IS BETTER THAN A $600 4-WAY SPEAKER, BUT FOR $69 I DARE YOU TO FIND A BETTER QUALITY CENTER ON THE PLANET.

I love to watch movies and feel like I’m in the action! This speaker does all that and more. You will receive awesome crisp highs and a good midrange. I have a complete Cerwin Vega system. I have E-706 front, E-705's in the rear and a lw12 powered sub. Together it's awesome. Not much more to say! Just try one you won't be disappointed!

I got a set of sony center and surround with the purchase of my receiver. I wasn't impressed at all with them. I purchased the LS 6C as a replacement and WOW what a difference. The LS has a real clean and powerful sound quality that fills a room with solid sound. It made a definate difference in my system. I run with it a set of Wharfsdale Shappire 89's and AR 216 for my surrounds and the sound is great. I would strongly recommend this speaker to anyone building a HT system on a budget.(which is the majority of people out there!!) I feel that it has been probably the best purchase in my whole system.

Excellent sound, clean, clear and good range.

Need to build a bigger shelf above my TV (10" deep).

I'm a rookie to the HT thing and have been upgrading my "starter" system. The center I had was garbage (to embarassed to mention brand) and what a difference! It really is the most important speaker in your system for movies. I listened to Polk, Infinity and JBL in this price range and even higher and liked the balance of the C-V the best. A definate keeper when any further upgrades happen. Paired it with C-V LS-5's for rears and the sound is fantastic all around now! If you can find it at a good price I highly suggest grabbing one. I only paid only $180 + Tax CDN (a steal) and definately got my $'s worth.
