I used to own a pair of Canton Karat 100's. I loved the pronounced hi end performance. After many years, I yearned for the same, but with a full low end. The Focal Chorus S-706 is that and more. With the addition of the sonically matched S-CC70 center channel my combination music and movie system sings like never before. The speaker set delivers way beyond my $1500 investment. The only imaginable upgrade path, from here, would be to clear out the furniture and buy big ol’ floor standing speakers.
