I have been using the Q95C with a pair of Q75s for fronts and a pair of Q55s for the rear channels. They are being driven by a Nakamichi AV-8 receiver. This center channel matches superbly with other speakers in the Q-Series as it contains the exact same Uni-Q driver that is found throughout the Q-Series line. This speaker provides terrific imaging and when combined with the matching speakers, create a very impressive movie experience.

Strength:

Great detail, smooth midrange, amazing off axis response

Weakness:

None

I recently received this as a gift. I have to say that this is one of the most amazing center speakers I have heard in this price range.

The off axis response is so good, that the sweet spot is almost the length of the couch.

Like the other Q-series speakers, the midrange is smooth and sweet.

One great speaker,

I bought this speaker several years ago after reading an article which compared center channel speakers. The sound quality was so good, I just had to upgrade my L/R speakers this year to the Q15's (same Uni-Q driver).
The 95C produces wide dispersion for off-axis listening so you don't have to sit directly in the sweet spot to enjoy it. IMO, voices are reproduced clearly and naturally with little coloration. Home theater effects pan smoothly across the front. Great performance solo..outstanding performance matched with the Q15's.
