I am looking to purchase this speaker. I know that Uncle Stereo carries Klipsch, but I want to check the net first to find the best deal. I couldn't find this speaker on shop4.com. I did find it in Tatum Electronics. Has anyone purchased anything from that particular dealer? Thanx.

Wow! I just bought this speaker for $203 from www.shop4.com. I also got the entire Klipsch system including the 10.5 and the S5. This center channel is perfectly timbre matched with the 10.5's. Just listen to opening narration from the movie Dark City (DVD). You can hear every breath of Kiefer Sutherland. You just feel like you were sucked into it. Awesome!!! Beware that the center has to match with the mains for a good system. Don't ever mix this main with things from Polk, etc. They are too different. Polks use the dome tweeter, while this uses the horn.

I've had this center channel for almost a month now and have had the opportunity to "break-in" the speaker. Although this is my first HT setup, I really have no baseline to compare to except for the comments several of my friends have given me.
Based on their opinions, they were really amazed with the detail and clarity that this center channel was putting out. That was the last thing expected coming from a horn-based speaker. To top it all off, these were guys who have been in the HT scene for almost five years, and the speakers they own are the B&W 600 series speakers.

Nevertheless, they were really impressed and going on that thought, I was very happy to hear their honest two-cents worth. 5 STARS!

My brother has this center and I think that it is incredible. I have never heard a better center before. I am currently using a Klipsch SC-1 and it works good and sounds good. But, the Klpsch KSF-C5 goes better with my system and I am currently looking for one now. So, if you know where I can get one or want to sell yours, please e-mail me at danielwilburn@collegeclub.com.
