Strength:
Powerful, Efortless & Demanding
Weakness:
None This c6 center channel is out right smooth and crisp and clear. The c6 is the best center channel speaker in its price range hands down period. There are many center channels twice the price that can't compete with the Klipsch c6. You can put this speaker with any Home Theater system of qualty and it will raise hell like no other. Just buy it and you will see. Similar Products Used: Klipsch KSP 300 towers & S5 Surrounds |

Extreemly Clear While working in a high-end stereo store I was fortunate enough to not only listen to, but to compare with equal everything the highest end Bose and the Klipsch. I thought I would wait a while before purchasing my own system so I could get a feel for the two. There was absolutely no waiting involved; I knew which was better right away. When the Bose representative left to go home early for the day (which was quite often) it was a free for all on his system. I would hook up the comparable speakers to the same receiver via speaker selector boxes, listen and just laugh. People would come in and I would do Klipsch/Bose comparisons for them . Needless to say 79 out of the 80 people that got to hear the difference walked out at night with Klipsch in hand. The one that didn’t had a Bose center, and a wife that told him not twice but three times that "the Bose would look better on top of the T.V." When she was gone he later nudged me and sure enough agreed the Klipsch sounded better. One further note, when I hooked the two center speakers up to compare (originally the Bose center speaker was not hooked up to the Bose system, now i know why) there laid the biggest difference in the sound quality. The best way to describe the two differences would be to imagine a 5-gallon bucket of water! Now imagine playing boths speakers side by side! Now imagine that Bose center speaker submerged in that 5-gallon bucket of water! That is the difference. And I was only comparing it to the Klipsch C-1 (one of the lowest end centers). Now I know why the Bose guy didn’t hook up his center, and also why he would never let me play my system when his was playing. Similar Products Used: Klipsch and Bose |

This speaker is an excelent center channel speaker. The speaker is very detailed. You can hear many details in movies you would otherwise miss. I love the horn tweeter. Voices are natural and very clear. I have teamed this speaker up with a pair of older Klipsch Fortes. They too have not only a horn tweeter but a horn mid-range. They work very well together. I picked my center up at a local retail store. It was the display model so they blew it out at $250. An excelent deal. It is worth the $500 MSRP price. |

I recently purchased a Klipsch system after researching, reading reviews, and in store auditions. After narrowing to Boston Accoustics or Klipsch, there was no comparison. The Klipsch were brighter, more crisp, & need much less power to drive them. They are very efficient. I purchased the C6 Center, S6 Surround, & KSP-400 Towers. This system sounds excellent. Since a minimum of 50%-60% of your sound comes from the center channel, it is very important. This speaker provides excellent sound! It is detailed and disperses the sound through the room well. I definitely recommend this speaker with any setup. It was also a great deal through Uncles Stereo. |

I chose this center channel over Boston Acoustics VR-12. If you are looking for natural, clear, and loud dialogue from a center channel, give this one a try. Will play loud enough (150 watts) for everyone. It got a great review from Home Theater magazine. Uncle stereo has it for $329 delivered, just make sure what kind of deal are you getting from them. |

Weakness:
Physically large but well worth the space Outstanding quality and clarity. Excellent compliment to my Klipsch Epic towers. I Couldn't be happier with my choice. Almost bought the Bose until I read the reviews posted here. I paid $272 for this speaker at Ubid and feel like I got a great deal. Similar Products Used: none |
