Strength:
i still thinking..... built well. maybe good for very small rooms.
Weakness:
weak sounding. to small to reproduce accurate vocals. hate that "cupped hand" sound. pass on this speaker if you crave good vocals. to small to produce male voices with a natural sound. always sounded "boxy" and "cupped hands" sound. replaced with a boston acoustics micro 90c and it was day and nite. finally i dont strain to hear certain vocals on some dvds. very weak in the high freqs. i dont really like the horn tweeter used on klipsch speakers. they sound ok when not compared to anything else. but compare them to others and you can do much better for the money. None Bought this speaker to go with Klipsch Synergy mains and rears. The sound that comes from this tiny speaker is amazing. Voices are rendered with great clarity, and never sound strained. I can easily recommend this speaker. Similar Products Used: Athena, Polk |

Strength:
tight punchy mids, crisp highs. (save the bass for your sub)
Weakness:
??? my sending limit was $200 for a center. excellent center for the money, i demoed others, but this one stood out from the rest. i usually dont like surround for music so i use it mostly for dvds and tv viewing. great vocals and center stage. my old center would have a hard time with dialog being drowned out in some dolby dvds. not this center. nice tight crisp sound. very happy Similar Products Used: bose 301s in front denon a/v receiver infinity surrounds sony 12" sub 150 watt |

Strength:
great sound, top notch construction, excellent clarity, very efficient
Weakness:
none i bought the sc.5 after purchasing my Pioneer Elite vsx-33tx receiver and ks-10 klipsch sub woofer. what incredible sound from such a small package. very efficient use of power, hardly need to turn the volume up to get this baby rocking. It's the best bang for the buck, when listening to dvds it brings the movies to life. I can't say I have listened to many other center channels but i can't believe for the money any are better.I have an old set of koss 1020 main speakers, with this center they work incredibly well together. this week i'm picking up a set of ss.5 to replace my old kenwood surround speakers. lord of the rings DD EX kicks it's butt. Great center channel. Great deal. Picked this one up from uBid a last year and it has been rockin ever since. I'm running a Yamaha v800, with Klipsch RP-3's for mains and RS3's for rears. Sounds great. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a great center channel. Sounds great on 5ch stereo too. Strength:
Crisp, clear, and clean vocally. Versatile positioning. Solid/well built.
Weakness:
None noticed to date. It was difficult to decide on this center, because when I bought it I could not find much information about it, and I don't remember seeing any reviews. As I post this, there are still only two others here. I got it for $159 after shipping, and I consider it a solid value. Setting up my theater, I knew how important the center would be, and I decided it needed to be a proven brand, and needed a good horn. After getting all my other components at incredible bargains, I did not feel as confident in the price but to date I am still impressed with its performance. It is rather small with a low profile which I like as it does not try to dominate the scenery like my larger speakers. The speaker and grill can be flipped over to provide a good angle either below or above your screen while still keeping the small logo on the grill turned the right way. It is a heavy unit from the oversized magnets, and seems very sturdy and well built. The voice representations are very clean and crisp at any volume providing movie dialogue at its very best. Musically, I love this speaker as well. As stated in my other reviews, I enjoy live CD's, and this center performs well in any sound mode on a variety of music types. I describe myself as an enthusiast mostly because I will not be spending thousands on my equipment but I really enjoy music and movies. From this perspective, I have not heard much to compare with this speaker. I have heard some $300 plus, and even $1000 centers, and singled out, they make make a better show, but in the context of the rest of the system, I see no need to spend the extra $$. I relied on the Klipsch name and the track record of their horns from the SC-1's, and found a great speaker. Similar Products Used: Wharfedale, JBL, Pioneer, Infinity |

Strength:
Very crisp, accurate, efficient and clean sound.
Weakness:
None so far! Since the very first time I hooked up this speaker, I have not stopped being amazed by its superb sound quality. I use it along with the Klipsch KSB 2.1 mains and the sound stage is fantastic. I really enjoy the clean, crisp highs and the depth of the mid-range. I would recommend this center channel speaker to anyone in a small to mid-sized room. Similar Products Used: KLH |

Only had it two weeks, but so far, I'm very happy with it. Dialog is very clear (from a whisper to a shout), and has good bass response given it's size. A great speaker for the price. Similar Products Used: NHT |
