Strength:
Great HT imaging. And M&K service is hands down, the best. Have a technical question? No problem. Need service? They refurbished my old SX4's and the VX7, replacing and updating all the drivers and even the amp in the sub for under $150. And these speakers were nearly 20 years old! With the support I have gotten from M&K, they have earned a customer for life.
Weakness:
They are not free. The 750 LCR does a great job as a center channel speaker. I use it with two classic SX4's up front, 550THX's on the side and a VX7 sub. All these M&K products blend seemlessly, giving my very challenging listening environment all the sound it needs. The 750 does a great job with home theatre, and when listening to music, seems equally at home. Hell Freezes Over? These speakers thaw it right out! Similar Products Used: Tried out Bose. Couldn't stand 'em. WAY too bright. Painfull. |

Strength:
Excellant sound for movies
Weakness:
Somewhat bright for music I have used these speakers for about 9 months and have them coupled with an MX-105 sub and 550THX satelites. For movies they provide a very crisp, clean sound that can't be beat. However, for music they tend to be a little bright. For HT I would heartily recommend these speakers. |
