Clarity, clarity...quality of sound

The AC-2 sits between my NHT 2.9's and blends seamlessly. Terrific, musical and clear as a bell (for dialogue in home movies). A perfect complement for my 2.9's and the NHT 1.5's (rear) and NHT Sub Two. I enjoy playing music in 5-channel mode, powered by my Denon 5700 receiver, so a great center speaker is a must. You will NOT, in any way, shape or form, go wrong with this speaker.

Tremendous impact yet musical, very natural true on dialogue, its weight of 36 lbs tells you a lot. The most subtle sound effects it reproduces so delicately.

Blends in excellent with my 2.9. I 've got it mated with Classe Audio SSP 25 and CAV 150 amp. Stereo Surround is great with this center. Cant wait to try bridge the CAV 150 and send 300 watts through it. Cant understand why NHT waited so long producing this thing with 3.3 and 2.9 already on te market for quite some time.

What an amazing center channel speaker! I also have it paired with 2.9's and a Denon receiver (3300). Its seamless with them for movies and adds nicely to music. Costs a few bucks more than the Audiocenter 1, but well worth it. I demoed the 1 for two weeks then tried this. Knew it was a keeper as soon as I hooked it up. Nice full sound and a decent low end for a center. Make sure you have somewhere to put it, it weighs in pretty heavy compared to any other center I've seen. Couldn't agree more with below posts...if you have the 2.9's or even the 2.5i's (can't speak for the 3.3's) try this puppy out. You'll love it!
