Strength:

Wide dynamic range, solid construction, excellent timbre match with paradigm monitor series

Weakness:

none so far

In the 3 months I have owned this speaker, it has been a pleasure to listen to. It is very capable of meeting the demanding requirements of a center channel speaker in a Dolby Digital setup. Whether used in a 5 channel music environment, center in a 5.1 home theater setup or just for cable TV listening the delivery of sound is smooth and clear through out the frequency range. At $200 US it is a bargain and is designed to perfectly complement Paradigms Monitor Series loudspeakers. Comparable in performance to other centers costing twice as much. Highly recommended.

Strength:

excellently matched to my Monitor 7's.

Weakness:

a little too big for placing on top of my 25" TV

This thing sounds great when watching regular TV, VHS videos, or DVD. I took home my front Paradigm Monitor 7 speakers a few days before the center channel (they didn't have one in stock.) The center channel made a huge difference when viewing anything on the TV.

The CC-370 is matched perfectly with my Monitor 7's. It provides a substantial improvement over ordinary 2 channel stereo while viewing.

I always switch off the center channel when playing music. I had left it on by mistake a couple of times. It doesn't suck, but it just doesn't sound quite as good as regular 2 channel stereo.

I have also noticed parts of DVD's that are purely musical sound better with just the fronts. Last night I played the cut choir scenes from "Finding Forrester" on DVD. The choir sounded much better in regular 2 channel stereo.

I listened to several other brands of speakers before I purchased the Paradigm's. All the Paradigm speakers I've heard provide way better sound than would normally be expected at any given price point. I am 100% satisfied. I plan to add Paradigm rears and a sub in the future.

Strength:

Super Clear and Crisp

Weakness:

Ya Right

This speaker packs considerable power, so it can often overwhelm a listener (but in a good way). I always get a reaction when the center's capability is exercised well. This speaker is quite heavy, so make sure you have adequate support for its 25+ lbs. You can not go wrong with this center

Strength:

Very crisp and clear

Weakness:

Whatever

This is the ultimate center channel and if you are looking to purchase one your search has ended. This speaker can really get you more involved with your movie that your watching, especially if you have it with a pair of paradigm monitor 7 v.2.
